The summer has started in earnest and with lots of activity on the pitch it is great to see so many people taking part in games. Under the banner of the one club we are actively encouraging people to get involved with the club and try and support in any shape r fashion. It is all appreciated. Under the Banner of one club we are attempting to integrate the clubs and make it a club for all members to foster and contribute.

Lotto

There was no winner of the lotto. The numbers drawn were 10, 13, 24, 30.

The lucky dip winners were:

  • Kathy Thornhill
  • Noel Sheehan
  • Barry Young
  • Loughlin McGovern

The lotto is a very important source of income for the club. There are many people buying the tickets at €2 each. If you want to support the club today you can make a regular contribution by buying a lotto ticket for the regular draw.

Bingo

Results

Our junior footballers defeated Kilavullen 3-18 to 2 -06 and our Intermediate footballers lost to Kinsale on a score line of 1-13 to 1-09.

Our U15s had a great win over Banteer in the Rebel Og hurling league on Wednesday last. Hard work & great team effort proved our lads to be too strong for their opponents. Well done.

Our U11s had a training session on Monday night on our new training field. What a fantastic addition this area is to our grounds, especially during these very busy training & match days. Bring on those long summer evenings!

If anyone here is available for a day or for even a few hours to help out coaching you can reach out to Will Fouhy or let one of the officers know.

Club upkeep

The club would like to thank all the member who supported the development of the new training area as well as those who supported around the grounds with other areas of maintenance.

Festival Plans

As we write our Festival committee are in the process of getting ready for our festival weekend on the first weekend of July. With lots of activities planned for the weekend there will be a great degree of variety and crack on the weekend. Friday nights activities will require volunteers from the Club and it would be great to have members of the club volunteer for the evening. With Saturday and Sunday night requiring people to steward. If you wish to take part please contact any of the club officers or Eamonn McCarthy.
