Intermediates lose to Erin's Own

On Saturday, our intermediate hurlers travelled to castletownroche to play Erins own. This group two encounter was an important fixture for to get off to a good start. Erins own started the better and per Alan Bowen were able to maintain a health lead over our lads by half time of fifteen points to 7. We came out in the second half a different team and knocked over seven points in a row but the unerring free taking of bowen was to prove our downfall as he hit over 16 of their final tally of 22 points. A late save from Kieran murphy the erins own goalkeeper was to prove the match winner for erins own.

There is a bit of work to be done as we prepare for our next hurling encounter versus Bandon but we’ve every confidence the guys will drive on again.
